I'm not really a Deadhead as I have only 1 show in my collection from them - the one I went to. But I have been thinking about starting a group to trade shows, do trees or whatever. I have probably 200 live shows in my collection from various bands.
Jinkies! I like all kinds of music - rock, jazz, blues, classical, world, folk, country, bluegrass, some rap...As far as shows by jam bands, I've only got the Dead, Phish, and Other Ones shows I went to. I try to get copies of gigs that I was at. It's a slow process, but I'm getting there. I'm a huge Genesis fan and have 100+ shows of theirs. Other bands on my boot list are Uncle Tupelo, James Brown, Warren Zevon, Bob Dylan, The Who, Pink Floyd, Bill Monroe, Stanely Brothers, Son Volt, Miles Davis, and more.
I do the occasional snail mail trade but I've got a couple contacts in Madison with whom I trade and I do a shitload of shn/ape/flac downloading of shows from the Net and it's all free. You list Steve Kimock. I've never heard their music but see shows of theirs to download all the time.
You like the Foundation trilogy, eh? I downloaded the BBC radio drama of that a couple weeks ago but haven't read the series in 10 years. I read all 7 or 8 books in a row.

yep we do get the cartoon network over here 24 hours a day on sky digital. the only adult swim we get is between 1:30am - 2am on Friday evening/Sat morning and its Space Ghost followed by Aqua Teen Hunger Force. The Brak Show used to be on but that got replaced by ATHF. I actually bought the first seasons of SGCTC and ATHF on DVD last week and they are brilliant. Havent had a chance to watch them all yet tho'.
i have some friends who live in Melbourne and they love it over there so i will definately visit sometime in the future. A really good friend of mine moved to the Gold Coast a couple of weeks ago so im going to visit him later in the year. Have you ever been to NZ?
I see you like yr local hip hop too huh? The scene has been really taking off bigtime over here for the past year and a half. Groups like the Deceptikonz and solo MC's like Scribe and Mareko are starting to get real acclaim. NZ hip hop has sucked for so many years its great to some artisits making a name for themselves.
ha oh yes, flashing on the streets sounds fun for sure. if I had breasts they would be out more than they would be in.
unfortunately flashing sausages on the streets around here would likely be frowned upon.

I dont remember what we were talking about, its kinda hazy now. Sometimes I remember dreams forever, but many just slip away. Its really odd dreaming about people you have never seen in the flesh. I have been having crazy dreams as of late. I think its because ive been drinking alot these days.
