:) finaly got good enough internet to watch you vids ! Old guy her ,so bear with me my last favorite comics wher Battle Pope and Arseinic lullaby- before that was judge dread
@_tombstone_ If you dig stuff like Battle Pope with humor and action, I would recommend Chew from Image Comics by John Layman and Rob Gilroy. It's about a world where the avian flu has spread and chicken has become illegal. The most powerful government agency is now the FDA, where Tony Chu works. Chu is a Cibopath, which means by eating food he can sense the history of the food. If he eats an apple, he can tell the orchard it grew in, the pesticides used, etc. But if he bites a human finger, he can tell what happened to the victim before they died... It's got a lot of ridiculous action sequences and epic splash pages.
Thanks so much for the reply - read around noon and went straight to my local tiny pathetic comic shop after work - the didn't have the new Howard or chew :( - went online to Things From Another World- and got both H the D #1 2015 and Chew vol 1 issue 1-4 TPB - I will let you know more after i receive and read - thanks again - looking forward to your next vid blog review !
@_tombstone_ I don't know of a great WA online comic shop. Midtown Comics and Things from Another World I've heard have really good practices and reviews. Cheapgraphicnovels.com is good for trades. Hope this helps and let me know what you think when you've read those books. If you like good humor, the guy who wrote Howard the Duck draws a comic called "Sex Criminals" with Matt Fraction about two people who have the power to stop time when they orgasm. So they go rob banks.
