It's cold. It's very cold. It's colder than Jane Fonda's reception at a VFW. It's colder than leads in Jimmy Hoffa's murder case.

I don't about elsewhere but here in Denver it's currently minus 2 degrees fahrenheit! Jesus, much colder and you could spit and it'd hit the ground as ice.

We had us a shoplifter in my store day before yesterday. A 16ish african-american fellow was looking at our Yu-Gi-Oh binder of single cards. The moment that the card guy had his back turned he bolted for the door faster than a hobo on a sandwich.

My boss (store manager) goes after him pretty quick-like (took three seconds to figure out what was happening). Chased this kid for two blocks and started to lose ground. This lady stopped her car and had Lee (boss) get in; she cut the kid off. Kid drops the binder but gets loose from Lee.

Arvada cops worked fast that day. Caught him inside of two blocks and ten minutes of the 911 call being made. So this kid has commited $5,000 worth of felony robbery and will more than likely get probation and a firm chiding because the little scumbag is still a minor. God bless the justice system.

Lee was pumped though, that was a big chunk of change we almost lost.
