Yeah, fuck Evanescense! I just can't stand them because they just remind me of all the kids a class or two behind me who were buying all the goth-wear from Spencer's gifts...
I mean, I know some people who've been gothy for about as long as I remember. I've always kinda taken it with a grain of salt, but hey, I've got some respect for someone who takes something, anything seriously. But, the dumbasses who jumped on when I was a senior mostly did it as a fashion statement (not really a good one, either.. come on, Marilyn Manson brand clothing sold at Spencer's?).
I just feel like Evanescence are a bunch of Spencer's goths. It's like being gothy just to be gothy, not because your life actually sucks or anything. *shrug*
Just my two cents as a never-really-been-too-gothy-more-rockabilly-nerdish type, but one who definitely knows life-suckage.
As of right now , I'm still working overnights . So I'm usually awake around 2:00pm or 3:00pm , and I'm free until 9:00pm . Weekends are free . I'll probably be working that shift for at least a few more weeks .
P.S. Don't be too hard on Evanescence . At least they sold their souls for a lucrative record deal . I know a guy who sold his soul for a bag of peanut M&M's . In hindsight he was quite remorseful . But he's in hell now so let's just forget about that bit of unpleasantness .
Well, Pauley Perrette and Sara Rue were both in The Ring.... the other ones on the list on the bottom were part of my "allowed to sleep with if given the opportunity celebrity list"
Both me and the g/f have one, hers consisting of Jack Black, Steve from Barenaked Ladies, Johnny Depp, etc...
There was an old episode of Friends where Ross and Rachel had a similar list... it was kinda silly and we both made one a while back.
