Look, everyone says that if you stop looking for it, it'll come to you. That is ALSO bullshit, just like the true love / eternal love thing. I stopped looking and I've been single for 4 fucking years. Then everyone wants to say "How can you be single, you're so beautiful." Like being pretty solves all the world's problems with you. Sorry but if it were that easy, I would have been not only on Easy Street by now, but Easy Highway.
However, I can co sign the "rush you get from falling head over heels." I do miss that feeling. I was watching a movie yesterday and felt that I was missing it. Eternal Sunshine always makes me feel that way. Watching their first encounters in love. The smile on Joel's face when he called Clementine the first night they met. Sigh. It might be a sad movie, but it's a beautiful movie.
I'm rambling now. Yes, you may be my friend. But you have to promise to entertain me with this quick wit and humor that you say you have. And you have to comment on my journals. I erase people from my friends list who don't participate at least once in awhile. Someone who makes me laugh gets big points in my book. Plus if you love the Trio... you can't be all bad.
