And your plan for meal management sounds excellent. I used to do that when we first got married. I would cook all day Sunday for all the meals we would eat during the week. But now that I am done working by 315 I have enough time to cook before the boy gets home.

I would never expect to get paid, or have first class covered... but if they're going to send you to do something, they need to at least cover costs :/

Well, that sucks. Have you considered taking it up with your MP? (You're in a different riding up there aren't you?) People tend to scoff at that, but you might be surprised--especially in a minority the government they might be open to looking at the situation to keep things smooth. Or, hell, talk to the media. Email the CBC, CTV etc...the last thing the federal Liberals need right now is bad press.
