okay. so i haven't left just yet...
they let me in the sg motorcycle club and now i want to stick around another minute or two.

anyway.

those of you that have been around here awhile know that i find stuff and put them in jars and wait to see what happens.
sometimes it's really amazing. remember my caterpillar that had the weird things that stink, come out of it's head? i watched it everyday and saw it emerge as a swallowtail butterfly? that was cool.
then there is my mud wasps nest. pretty boring really. i think they're still changing, but i can't be sure. not much to see there. just some dirt clods in a jar.
then i caught a bunch of stuff on my beach. hermit crabs and eels and such. i put them in a little aquarium overnight so i could draw them in the morning. then i'd let them go.
they all died. i felt real bad, so i put some of them in a jar. you know. for science.
well the other night, my girl's screaming "OHMYGAWD!! GET A JAR!"

spider.
right in the middle of my floor.
so into the jar it goes.
i just got home a few minutes ago and i look inside the spider jar and there is a strange web, a noticeably skinnier spider and a distusting mass of what looks like cum and tapioca.
right now i am watching it make this web thing and it is so amazing to watch. it is so deliberate and gestural in it's action, it's not unlike watching a painter.
so cool.
i guess i'll get to find out if baby spiders really do eat mama.
