I've already published my "final" blog with a few wise words and the sappy revelation of endless unconditional love for all of you that have followed or supported me over the years, but I wanted to throw out a few quick words as I try to catch up on a few of my favorite sets release over the past month (among over 200 bookmarked).
I've fallen in love with so many of you, but it's not exactly how you think as so many of us define "love" differently from friendly relations to family burdens and the one that we could make babies with if we so chose or had the biological option to do so. Every heartbeat brought me one step closer to you as I defied popular definition and found what you offered the world to be something admirable, something I could cherish from any distance and through every means. It's not as simple as the yearn to kiss your lips or feel supple breast gently pulsating in unison with the rhythm of your four-chambered engine against my own warm chest nor is it a collection of high fives and lengthy embraces that familiarize our souls akin to women synchronizing their periods after an extended moment of time spent together. This is a love that visualizes no boundaries, senses no end to the limitless existence of "us" as we find one another through digital or physical means, oceans across or inches apart, time and space only a concept we perceive based on teachings of others that sought to explain everything within the bindings of books or within the capacity of the human mind.
The bond through which we were connected from the moment our energy signatures flashed into existence like molecules deciding the string that tied us together would be more beautiful with an elegantly designed unique being decorating the endless connection. We became a string of lights on a Christmas tree, a macaroni necklace strung together in primary school, a constellation of stars invisibly strung together to create these amazing designs not even aware of their connection. That bond brought us together and through every kiss, disagreement, conversation shared, or piece of life we shared together or apart we remained connected.
Call this "love" what you will and define it as you may. Bridge whatever distance is between us by miles walked or through connected lips, but there will always be my heart beating a rhythm that supports your life, your choices, your every day breath. I may not always hear you and I may seem distant or trapped in my own thoughts and philosophies as I figure out more pieces of this puzzle called life, but my door remains open as the invisible string that connects us cannot be severed nor should I ever wish it to be.
I am here for you now and will be here for you in any capacity that allows you to continue climbing the stairs toward the sun rather than buried in the shadow of what once was.
