marysa:
Happy birthday 🎉🎊 and I totally feel you camera shy, I’m also shy on camera or just look ridiculous as I have a hard time not noticing a camera is around, I loved your blog post and totally relate that sometimes the happiest we are is when the camera is not rolling
pervypanda:
Happy birthday @xheartswornx and I feel you on the selfies. (My favorites are when they're taken without my knowing, 'cause then I don't have to think.) Cool coffee mug. And damn, you rocking that handlebar, seriously jealous that you can.
sammiii:
Can’t believe I missed ya birthday! I’ll have to send you another print or polaroid! I’ll get on this nomination as soon as I’m feeling better! Had a very crazy stressful unexpected week haha! You have such awesome pirate vibes in this picture but also reflect a kind soul ☺️ Much love as always 🖤
xheartswornx:
@merryboudoir well, feel free to sneak in front of the camera a little more! Thanks for the birthday wishes. ❤ @pervypanda Cheers! Candids do tend to capture the most real of our emotions because we don't pose or alter ourselves in any way when the moment is captured. @ohsammiii By all technicality, you didn't miss my birthday. It's today in the Midwestern US so I still have some time left. Love ya, my dear. All the best wishes and healing vibes. Always here for you if you need anything. ❤
miloszbeardlove:
Man, that pic is simply put: PERFECT!!! Its's awesome in every way, your look, the mug, your expression. It's that kind of real life pic taken by some "famous" photographer when he wants to show "real life". That is one cool photo and you rock it really great. 💪👍👍👍👍👍👍
hiptobes:
I rarely smile in pictures if I'm in a picture with someone else I'm normally the one pulling a stupid face, I dig this picture and your reasoning behind it.
xheartswornx:
@miloszbeardlove Thanks, dude. @hiptobes I normally have a fairly stupid look on my face when I know photos are being snapped with me in it. I feel like the smile is fake when I know the photo is being taken. It might not be, but it feels like a big show at the time. I always enjoy candid photos but never have access to them (they get lost in social media spots) or I always look bored to death because it's right before or after something happened that would have been great. I was involved in some great activities like being launched into the air and landing on my face (I had a face shield on and there was no injury, but I was launched high in the air in a roller derby bout) and one time I wasn't watching where I was skating  (I was skating backwards) then turned around to hit a puddle and fell and slid about 10 feet. I wish that was on camera. The only pain from that was the pain in my ribs from laughing so hard because it was funny even from my point of view. I wish things like that were caught on video or still photography because there are some great moments that looked ridiculous and belong in a funniest home video challenge. Plus, I never get cool shots of things going on.

I know the feeling, a few years ago we had a really good snow up here and one of the little rivers had frozen over, I stepped onto the ice and was like "HEY IT'S SOLID" then fell straight through.
xheartswornx:
@hiptobes Oh man! That sucks, but would have been a great little video to catch. I swear, I need to travel more and have a videographer trying to film as much as possible just to catch the strange moments. I've said so many things that were creative or funny as hell and forgot what I said five minutes later. I've done some crazy things and most of the time I have one witness and that's about it. Life is crazy like that. Our best moments happen when no one is looking. Well, maybe sometimes they happen with one special person or the occasional friend, but usually there is no film or digital version of what just happened and none of that can express the true emotion anyway. Though I do give credit to the photographers here for taking such amazing photographs because we do get to see some personality and emotion shine through when piecing together the sets. It's not easy at all to catch honest emotion because everyone wants to fake something intentionally or not when they know it will be recorded for others to see. Props to the photographers, but even still there is so much locked away in our memories that no selfies or friendly photos will truly capture.

Kinda off topic but this is why I asked about the VIP Lanyards for the Blackheart Burlesque, I'm not a fan of e-tickets, I'd much rather have a physical ticket that I can keep and not getting a coffin lanyard last year bummed me out. In the least depressing way I can make this sound, memories do fade but having those little mementos can keep things fresh in your mind.
xheartswornx:
@hiptobes I still have all my concert tickets to remind me of all the shows I went to, but e-tickets took over and even some shows I went to had no proof other than a permanent marker or stamp placed on the hand. I have yet to afford a VIP pass and I'd be too nervous to take advantage of it, but I agree. I hold onto my lanyards, concert ticket stubs, and other little things like that as a scrapbook sorta reminder. I'm sure a lot of folks would agree. It might not mean much outside of you (simple proof you went), but when you see those items you can flash back to everything you heard, saw, touched, loved, smiled about, and all that followed. Your mind recorded what you wanted or needed to remember and it's like a bookmark to the mental video clips and photos you took. I wish I had more. When I used to meet Suicide Girls at comic conventions and such I sometimes took photos (I do have some autographs in their very first book release), but I had them sign my arms in permanent marker so I had fake tattoos that lasted the weekend reminding me of the girls I hung out with. Now, all of them are gone. I do miss girls like @bellebane, @kewpie, and @churtch as well as a few others including @tovi and... damn, I can't remember the names of other retired girls. I had many on my facebook (which is long deleted now), but that was their personal profiles with real names attached versus their SG public profiles. I wish I had more to remember them by, but I had some good chats during lunch breaks, hung out at the hotels and such. I guess I wasn't quite as nervous as I thought I was hanging around some of them. Many made it very comfortable to just sit, chat, head back to the room and escape the noise for real talk for a few before heading out to bar parties and such. Those were the days. I'd love to just go back and do it again or repeat and meet up with many of the current ladies (and photographers) to just hang out and chat about love, life, and the next great movie to hit Netflix. Hah!

xheartswornx:
@brisen Thank you. It is an awesome mug! 🖤
chroi:
loving this photo and also it was taken recently reflecting you now. You are just wonderful my friend. Hope you enjoyed your Mustachio sounds so yum, if only I wasn't allergic to nuts :D x
kungfury:
Congrats on getting Front Page brutha. You deserve it!! 👍🏻
xheartswornx:
@chroi It is so good. Bones Coffee makes some great flavors like S'morey Time and Mustachio. I forget some of the previous flavors I've tried as well. I keep putting off my Electric Unicorn flavor, but want to try it. The previous recipe was meant to taste like a fruity cereal (which I own) then they just updated the recipe to have a creamy flavor as well so it tasted like fruity cereal in milk. It's, apparently, one of their most popular flavors. @kungfury I don't know if I really wanted my face on the front page, though. I much prefer seeing the ladies I post about! 😅
elaena:
Nice picture!!!! ☺️
chroi:
o my I'm drooling haha will I get a moustache if I drink the Mustachio though? hhaha
xheartswornx:
@chroi You might get a moustache if you drink it. Haha! @elaena Thank you, beautiful! 💖
