This will be my very first "blog" so go easy on me all as I'm not really sure why I'm doing. I decided to rant a little about politics and the upcoming election. I've been a supporter of the president since before the last election and at first it was all very exciting. They made it seem like everything was at stake, good vs evil and all. Over the last 4 years I've recieved countless emails and texts from Organizing for America, The President, First Lady, VP, all of them. I mean sheesh! Couldn't I just be a supporter and keep up on what's going on in Washington without a weekly call to take up arms against the big bad republicans? Are they that bad? I'm a Democrat and I believe in those ideals. I don't believe that the GOP is the enemy though. I'd like to think that we all want what's best but just have differing ideas of what that is.I know that's awfully naive, but I'd like to think that's what they went there at least at first for.

Whew! Ok, done with that part.

P.S. I wish the GOP wold've put up some better nominees. I mean Romney and Santorum? It's like they're not serious. What a joke!
