hey sounds like you had a fun weekend! I think we slept for a ton of hours yesterday...
well about my camera..see..the prob is...we dont want to blind ourselves with a flash! so...i set it on whatever one didnt flash and that left the lense open too long and that's why it got blurry. GRR. I just dont know cuz I could use auto mode or whatever but we'd be blinded w/a flash and then we'd only take like 4 pics . so I just dont know what to do with it... did you take Sabine sets for her? are you going to do another SB set ever? anyways. we hope to hang out again soon!
but my camera is a digital camera. I've tried reading the book on it but, it kinda all runs together in my mind. like there's different scenes you can use..to get different effects. but I've not found one I like that much. it just seems to take WAY too long to take a pic..even on auto. GRR. I didnt pay over $400 for something this annoying! I want it to take faster pics!
woohoo! new SB set. you're such a cutie. anyways, I'll have to mess around w/my camera some more and read the book more and see what I can come up with. I need to show my hot ass some more. haha.
Well, I had some particular images in mind, and another photo member said that he could process the particular images for me. Thanks for the offer though!
hahaha, oh,no, no, no. I'm going to Cuba for three weeks to do some research and drink some rum. Then, I'll be back for a few weeks before I head to Dallas for my internship. Then...who knows?
I like a lot of movement.
Speaking of which, I'm glad to see you're up and moving after your weekend. Although, if you were to die among gratuitous alcohol and naked women, that's not really a bad way to go. Very rock star.
I'm planning a bachelor party for a friend of mind the first Saturday in May. Beer, barbeque, broads, and bonfire. A potent combo.......
Got a photo question for you (actually two). I'm getting sun flare in several pics. What can I do to help correct this? I can't always get optimum sun position. It would be a pain and might not hold up, but would a lens hood help?
I might try a lens hood anyways just to see, but my camera mount already catches a LOT of wind. There's quite a bit of push at 220 mph! I took maybe 30-35 pics, and had sun flare in maybe 5 of them. That's not real bad, but what pissed me off is it was all in the good ones! Damnit!
Would a polarizing filter help at all?
All the photo's were at medium res and full auto functions. Now that I've got some feel for the camera I'm going to start playing with different manual settings.
You know, I hadn't thought of that, but it's a possibility. It's a Quantaray, I got it at Ritz camera, it was only like $13. I can look for a better one and see if that helps.
I asked about a 24mm fixed lens at Norman's but it was $700, so I think I'll wait on that one. I've got other equipment I want to get first, like a printer. I am going to keep my eye on ebay and see what they are going for though.
