I'm glad you have such wonderful children, though I'm not surprised. Their father is a jewel, and from what you've said about Annette, I'm sure she is, too.

I'm really glad you're able to remain positive in this situation. I know it must be hard, but it's good you're trying. Take care of yourself. I'll be in touch soon.

L.

I can move ANYWHERE!! biggrin And I just might become a gypsy and go everywhere!!
mrsted_stryker:
hahahaha I really AM thinking about being a Gypsy tho. Now keep in mind I am in a lot of pain lately (long story and I am fine) and so I AM on pain meds but after I heal I could totally leave my cats with my mom, pack up a duffel bag, and just travel from place to place. I can stop and work when I find a place and than move on when I choose. It actually sounds like heaven to me. weird I know but never having to settle down... if I get hurt, I move on...seeing beautiful places..meeting beautiful people..sigh. heaven on earth.

Given that you enjoyed such a wonderful long term relationship - it would seem accurate. Reliable is a good thing.....
ckdexterhaven:
Same here. Unfortunately I don't have any way to contact him outside of the site.
lolablu:
Yeah, you're right. I am often really hard on myself for having conflicting feelings although, sometimes, I just need to accept and feel them.

We're undefeated! Let's end the season now!

I'm glad to hear you'll be with your daughter for the Sedar and that they both are there for you!

This is the time of year when I most miss NYC and the Sedars friends would have. Since we are atheists born of christian tradition, we do the paegan easter egg thing for our kids.

This year we are driving to the Rock-N-roll hall of fame in cleveland and mtg our best friends from NYC for a long sober wkend of appreciation of rock with the kids. The older ones get to see their best friends, and I've told my youngest babe that the Easter bunny will find us at the Hotel. wink

Be well dear!

There's a lot to be said for someone who can be constant to one partner - someone who can make a committment. I'm sure there are plural marriages out there that work - but once again - there's still committment involved between ALL the partners. I think its awfully naive to think that you can be in a open relationship - ie. engage in casual sex with mutiple partners - and not hurt your committed partner.

I don't think it's boring to be faithful - I think it's commendable.
apexxx:
glad your family can help you out like that smile

i didnt get to see the game since it was in the afternoon. i was hoping for a replay at night, but with the Blackhawks back on tv, ill be getting to see fewer replays.

i entered a raffle at work for 2 Sox tix for this Saturday behind home plate with free parking. doubt ill win, but why not at least try.

there were several long throws by Orton to Hester last year that were over or under his reach. im betting more of those plays will result in completions and TDs this year smile

she left because of some drama involving people seriously fucking her over, but i cant go into it frown
how are you lately?

Steve Stone has replaced DJ permanently. They demoted DJ to AM Radio I believe.
Personally, I never liked DJ and thought he was a moron. I was very happy when they replaced him. Cant wait to check out tonights game and not hear his voice. biggrin
texaspsych:
Yeah you need to get out there and remind people how to do it. It seems that people have forgotten the subtle art of it. They think just puttting it out there is flirting. Please help me revive this lost art.

mrsted_stryker:
LOL I posted on FB that I was mad at a male in NM and guess what? I got what I wanted! tongue No need to kill anyone...he came thru. That and a friend of mine made a video for this guy he has a crush on. Guy is an old friend of mine. The video made me cry... but it made me happy as well. I now know what I must do.. and I am putting my plan in action. Look out state I'm moving to.. here I come! tongue biggrin

It's a few hours away, more inland.

I've always loved reading. Everything from the classics to... well, the not-so classics wink

I'm very glad that you'll be starting that program so soon. Best of luck - I know of many success stories!

I hope that you're getting out and walking as often as possible. It always does me a world of good and, until you can get back to the gym, it would probably be a big help to you. That's the primary reason I so strongly dislike winter - it keeps me inside and immobile.
mrsted_stryker:
OH hun.. tomorrow is not a good day! I have a call from England coming thru, one from my therapist (to tell me I am more sane than I think I am..wtf?) and one from my sis hopefully. ALL before 2pm so I can go to the foot doctor! LOL
FRIDAY would be sublime!
grayb:
Women are the jewels of creation - my life would be nothing without them. Right now though, it's probably better for me (and them) if we're all just good friends smile

I went through nearly an entire decade where I hardly read any books at all - the past couple of years, I'm making up for lost time.

Your intelligence is obvious and unquestioned - I'm not surprised that so many of your opinions and letters would be published, or that you would gain friendship and respect through them.

_margot_:
do you know how to find mattacme? I am worried.
_margot_:
Ugh.

I hate the line between real and internet life in situations like this.

I will keep you posted, and please let me know the same.

thanks

It took some effort to get past the inertia,
but worth doing. They're going to be doing
it again in two weeks, so I'm planning on going.
dryad:
I do the AIDS Walk every year, but I've never done anything specific for Breast Cancer. So instead of spreading myself too thinly, I can do stuff like this. smile
grayb:
I hope that you guys are able to get in touch with your friend mattacme and that the news is good once you do. So many good people are going through such bad times...
grayb:
Thank you! smile Yep, the "double nickle".

I've lost track of a couple of friends lately too. I know where they lived and I had their phone number. They're not there. I hope that they made a clean break and a fresh start - sometimes that's what you have to do. It doesn't make me worry any less, though...

I hope that you have a good weekend. Best of luck on Tuesday!
ferkixlll:
Did you try to PM 'mat'?
It is too easy to loose track of people.
Lets hope that he just went anon for
awhile.
Now that 'mat' is seen as MIA, I noticed that
Mark2008 has also been quiet
since early Feb.
Wishing that this week is better for you.
