I am entering holiday territory. BUT...

To reach bliss, I must cross hostile ground: a weekend of work.

Well, one day down. I suppose it's really not that bad.

I guess it was a good thing I didn't go to a party last night (I took a short nap and it turned into a normal night's sleep), because I was completely knackered at work today. Customers showed a reasonable degree of intelligence today though. Tried to think of another job I could take that pays as well as this one, and failed.

Okay, happy thought! I'm going over to Julia's on Monday and we are going to do Singstar Party! It's going to be hardcore.

I'm now grafted onto a secret extra-curricular film project with some other students. Can't say much, but the intention is to go beyond the usual school-based restrictions and aim a little for Hollywood rather than against it. A little sfx, a little blue-screen... maybe even some cgi. And my task as writer? Come up with a cool idea. I think I'm up to it - if anyone can come up with a wacky, stylish filmic idea, it's me.

Another happy thought! I just bought The Incredibles! Couldn't really afford it, but hey, it's one of those films I needed to own as soon as I saw it.

I think I'll use it to drown out the sound of horrendous children cackling outside my room.
