There are several quotes from books and movies that I have always wanted to use in everyday life.
One of them is Bolo in "Bloodsport" or one of the many movies he's in that are exactly like "Bloodsport" where he says, "You break my record. Now I break you. Like I break your friend."
So far I have not been able to fit it into a conversation.
What do we have here? Glenn Campbell, Quintron, Bolo Yeung, Cub Koda, Wings Hauser, Edith Piaf, Shelley Fabares, and Man Ray...I need to be put out to pasture as soon as it is convenient.
"From too much love of living,
From hope and fear set free,
We thank with brief thanksgiving
Whatever gods may be
That no man lives for ever;
That dead men rise up never;
That even the weariest river
Winds somewhere safe to sea.
For the time being this is all that haunts my time - past and otherwise:
But this caught me and pinned me down recently for a spell:
Ukrainian Gypsy avant-hard punk cabaret
I have been listening to Moog synth music like an OCD lately; you should try this gem to scare the emos and phillipses. It is the tits, and the ass 'n elbows too.
Oh man, I am not good at describing the actual kind of music. Green milk from the planet orange has kind of a prog/jazz/improv thing, they definitely jam... but not in a phish kind of way.
Here's the beta lactam ring records mp3 page, you have to check out a few, I highly recommend the Whitelodge, Earthmonkey, and Green milk stuff just to sort of get a feel for it. We have the Whitelodge stuff too, I should have mentioned it on my page because we listen to it a lot. It kind of has an old Current 93 feel to it, which is great to listen to on a cold winter's night... Let me know what you think of the mp3's!
you and jp, eh? well, all i ask is that you take pictures.
i fear that my intelligence is being sucked out through various assignments, leaving me little time to think in other directions! ACK - mental piracy. but i shall endeavor to try at least.
