I got to take the R1 out of time out this weekend, my eyeballs really work very nicely on it now. I think it would be wise to get some higher clip-ons so I sit up just a little bit more. Even though I'm not seeing double at all I am holding my head back from it's natural position in order for my eyes to feel at ease. An inch higher & an inch further back seems like just the ticket, I'll look into options. I just got back from a lap around Vegas - I would sit up writing about the huge smile on my face except that I have to get up early and go for a ride.
I have a week in Colorado coming up at the end of July, I've been flying back and forth this year due to the peeper problems. I'm going to see if I can cancel or transfer my tickets. I gotta do the 22,000 mile valve adjustment done on the ZRX before I take it though. There's some other little things to take care of also - I suspect my fork seals are leaking and I'm low on fluid, don't seem to have much dampening anymore. I've still yet to accomplish my goal of Vegas to Fort Collins in 12 hours. There's always something - so far: ran out of gas, freeway closed due to rock slide, hail storm, rain nearly the whole way... I'd just like to check it off my list is all.
