Life has been very hectic and somewhat interesting over the last year or so. Lots of hours and lots of 6-7 day workweeks but 2010 should be a little slower. I hope so anyway.

Well, it's cool and rainy here but at least we do not have snow and ice.
So far, being back at work after my long vacation has been pretty uneventful. I'm determined to maintain a steady pace for '08. No more fire drills, no more drama. Just slow and steady. As I get older I find that I hide from drama rather than seek it....

Thank god, or whoever you prefer. I dodged the in-law bullet. It was looking like my wife's dad was going to move in with us on Christmas eve. He had a heart attack on Thanksgiving and has been in a hospital since. He is doing rehab and gets out MOnday. My brother in law pissed him off last night so he decided to mave back...

Man, what a weekend. Beautiful weather and lots of color in the trees. May have to go out and take a ride around the lake and check out the trees along the shoreline.
