I'm starting to feel much better... I can miss taking Tylenol without the feeling my tempurature spike violently. I've run out of Claritin-D but depending how I feel later, I can always go retail foraging for it. Most of all, it felt nice for once to be able to cash in sick time. I have enough back logged that if I ever need vast amounts of time off, it's available. Normally my only qualm with my job is never having the opportunity to be out sick. I'm unfortunately too important so, sick time is spend flitting amidst coughing fits, between group homes overseeing paperwork and fixing computer glitches. This week was the first time in memory, let alone this job where I've been able to be laid out on my couch catching up on library movie rentals.

The other thing I've starting playing whilst ill was Star Wars - Knights of the Old Republic for the PC. Few things are as fun as jacking the character w/ dark side cheats, mouthing off to jedi at every turn, destroying families and ecosystems at the drop of a hat
and carrying around big red swords that hum. Fun!

For a fun turn of events this year, I will have New Year's Day off! Last year, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Eve and New Year's Day all fell on a two-day stretch that I worked a cumulative 18-22 hour stretch in. Needless to say, I didn't do shit. This year it seems as if AlienPrincess won't be able to make HonkeyKong's gig in Stratford but, I can and a possible appearance from the ever-greyed AmazonRed13. No matter what, I forsee sleeping in on Saturday.
