It's the day after SG Cabaret and I think it can be commonly agreed that everyone had an awesome time! I was proud to see nearly every familiar SGCT face out getting lit and drunkenly grinning at nekkid chicks. 
The ride up to the venue was fun. SmokingBuddha and I caught up on randomness and his newly-hatched plan on purchasing an iPod. The ride back was a blast! It's always nice to have car sing-a-long compatriots and happily ElmCityDrunk seems to have become one. Memories of the night are conflicted venue attendees trying to decide whether the show was on stage or watching CinderOla and GrumpyBear; shitty driving conditions remedied by a random truck stop pit stop - thank goodness for windshield wiper endcaps; Jed spending quality time on the floor behind the bar & finally April and her mesmerizing spinning. 
Pictures of this and hopefully last week's Wednesday @ ECD's should be up by the end of the day. *crosses fingers & currently unpainted toes*
Well tomorrow I'm leaving on a jet plane though I do know when I'll be back again. For those not in the know, I'm heading out to Iowa and Nebraska to visit my family over Thanksgiving Week. I'm unsure whether or not I'll have the chance to update over the week... I think I've figured out the way to upload via e-mail so once I'm done writing this entry, I'll try loading that way...to double-check.
I feel especially bad leaving the still greyed AlienPrincess behind...
Getting days off at her workplace requires wrestling with administration (who're armed with folding chairs). I imagine her sitting in our bedroom, using usual manners of loved one echolocation. *neek neek* She stated that she'll have a few numbers with which to contact some of our usual lounge-abouts. The trick with be getting her to do so. 
So friends, I think I'm going to cut it off here... I have tons to pack, luggage to haul out of closets, itineraries to print, 70 gigs of music to copy to my external hard drive and all of my photos to doctor (how I don't know). I will have my cell phone on me so, if terribly bored, feel free to call. All for now.
Hmmm...amendment to the above entry: It's currently 10:30p on Sunday and fixing photos is going poorly. Rather than rack my brain until two in the morning, I'll take care of these when I get back in town. Perhaps an actual whole night of sleep is the plan for tonight.
