I've been 29 for about an hour now but so far don't feel any older and wiser. Wouldn't aging be more interesting if were more like "leveling up" in an RPG? Perhaps this is the case, I am getting more pissed off and bitter. Maybe now I can consider myself to be a level 29 sarcasm dispenser.

Heres todays story about my stupid co-worker. Everyday we get a delivery of DVD's, CD's and games, because these are quite valuable they get locked away in a special room. The warehouse guy tannoys stupid co - worker to come and shift them, she doesnt turn up. Warehouse guy tries this is a few more times, same result (seems shes so stupid shes can't recognise her own name being tannoyed across the store). Warehouse guy thinks "Fuck this" and dumps the boxes in front of the door to the lock up. He figures she'll eventually have go in there and since they are in the way move them inside.

Warehouse guy hasn't quite understood how stupid Stupid Co - Worker is. Instead of spotting the six foot tall stack of boxes as something she has to take care of she simply pushes them aside and carries on with what she's doing.

I'm unsure if she is dumb or lazy. I'm gonna say dumb cos she still had to move the boxes. A lazy person would of figured that if they had to move the boxes they may as well move them inside the lock up. Otherwise they are gonna have to move them twice, twice as much work isn't appealing to a lazy person (being lazy I should know).

Slight tangent. My Granddad worked in the mines as a supervisor. Whenever he had a job that needed doing quickly he would get a lazy person to do it. His reasoning was they would do it as rapidly as possible so they could get back to slacking off. My Granddad is full of ace advice, plus being old his not bothered by uttering the odd un-pc comment. One that comes to mind was when we trying to get the spike that supports our washing line of the ground. Unimpressed with my efforts he shouts "Dammit boy, pull it out like you were pulling a black man off your girlfriend!". I'm not proud that I didnt chastise his outburst and instead fell on the floor laughing my ass off.

One more granddad story from back when he worked down t' pit. Everyday Granddad took the names of the men on his shift, kinda important is case someone hadn't returned at the end of the day so they would go and look for you. One day some newcomer decides to be funny and decides to tell my Granddad to "Fuck off" when asked his name. Granddad replies with "And how is that spelt? Is it W.A.N.K.E.R.?" Dude decides to shut the hell up.

My Granddad is ace (actually both of them are, my other Granddad was part of the D - Day landings) even though he did tell my mum that if she sent me to private school I'd become a homosexual.

Now that i am 29 I'm expecting that I wont be asked for ID when buying booze/smokes as often. However I was required to hand over my driving licence twice this week (including in the shop I work in) to prove my age, so i doubt that'll be stopping anytime soon. i guess technically that makes me under 18 in many peoples eyes. Does that mean i can continue acting like an immature fool? I sure hope so.
