I gave up on caffeine a long time ago. Every now and then I'll have a coke, but I usually just drink water or Sprite and I'm good. I never really noticed feeling any different when I stopped. I don't know why some people can get "addicted" to it. I do know somebody who drinks like 700-900 calories of Dr. Pepper on a regular basis, however. That's crazy, man.
