Bikes are only as safe as the rider i suppose. guy i work with is heavily into bikes - and his misses was doing a 3 day course to pass her test, and manged to fall off during this (guess she didn't pass) and has torn all teh ligaments from her pelvis. ouchy.

but its not put im off going on a bike, or her. if you love it, you love it. just get the right safety gear. dont be an idiot and nip in and out of very fast traffic. and you should be okay.

i've no idea who those comedy people are. or what the gallows is. i suck balls big time. although for 14 quid its got to be good. much better than a comedy club i went to at the guildhall in gloucester
