So, does anyone know of any cool things to do with a weekend in Toronto? I'll have some committments, this is certain, but mainly I'll be free.
So, I'm actually fairly ok. I went to the Dresden Dolls concert recently and enjoyed myself, making two new friends and hanging out with Jxxx. And, while I believed the best bands that played were the Dolls (obviously) and Rock Kills Kid (the opening band), I enjoyed myself. Did some pantomime and had Steak and Shake after. I guess my favorite part was before, though: I got to see the Dolls live in CD101's Big room, which was a 3 song set with two covers (including the Violent Femmes. <3).
Also in recent news-School and work have consumed my life in ways I never thought possible. I spend most of my time either working, in class, or asleep. Sometimes a combination of two. Its nice and stressful all at once, but the thing is that it's probably the only thing keeping me from being depressed. I find that part hilarious.
I've also found time to read again, so I've read a few books, and am in progress of two others:
Finished:
The Dante Club- Good, but I didn't like the ending as much.
In Progress:
Geek Love
Tons of graphic novels
Recent Music-
Flyleaf
Placebo
Pretty Girls Make Graves
Gratitude
I wish it was still storming.
