Yeah... I was on vacation during the election! At the beach! The only good news was that on Wednesday, it was cold and rainy... anything else wouldn't have fit at all.
People's homophobia staggers me. What do they think- that if gays get married, they're gonna have SEX IN MCDONALD'S??? It is their way of trying to ASSIMILATE into "normal" society! They want crazy salacious things like JOINT INSURANCE!! and kinky things like BUSINESS CONTRACTS and perverse things like seeing their loved one who's DYING IN THE HOSPITAL!! So yeah-- people are so friggin fucked; they'd rather bomb countries than give people basic civil rights...
You know what I did Friday? I called Howard Dean's folks and got myself a bumper sticker. Yeah, a little late... but hey, I voted for him before! And it's my way of saying, "Hey, I didn't vote for Bush, a-ight?!" The stickers arrived today, two designs-- for Deaner, and for the website. Lemme know if you want one.
I hope being "lovoely" is a good thing. Yeah, I voted for Badnarik, but you knew that. My boyfriend voted for Bush. I'm not going to have sex with him until he votes for a not right-wing party -- so he's got at least four more years.

And I was in DC last weekend, but it was so last minute and my schedule was packed (seeing friends' new baby, going to an early Thanksgiving party, etc.-- you get the gist!) that I didn't even call anyone else or try to set up anyuthing fun.
