I posted something on a friends blog, because she was torn over the "celebration" tomorrow. I wrote it to her because I thought made sense (but I often think my writing makes sense). I thought I'd pass it on...

Let's not dwell on people coming here to escape religious persecution, only to establish it themselves. Let's dwell on every moment in our lives that means something. Let's dwell on thanking all that is holy for every smile we encounter.
