sorry for the lapse

so
what happened
over the last few months?
well
i moved
i got promoted
twice
i went to new york
i went to chicago
i went away
i came back
i think i might
be here to stay

this summer is fine
with the heat and wind
breezy days on the water
and evenings in the sand
and tilting all night
and dew in the mornings

so much to do though
it all piles up
and i don't like piles

these days go by fast-slow
all inside out
dreams and visions
all run together
showing me where to go
