You're just riding the wave of euphoria aren't you! Exams mostly done, great concert and Winnipeg representation!

I can't believe you got to see Lemmy. Oh so jealous. I figure if I don't see Motorhead soon he'll be dead and then what? frown

You rest up and enjoy the ride! Sounds like you deserve it! wink

So when is your tree going up? I don't quite know how monkeys became an intergral part of my Christmas tree but somehow he got up there and has stayed there for years!

I find Starry Night to be really soothing and relaxing. A perfect picture when I just want to calm down and relax. Granted the tree's hiding it now but Christmas trees are pretty relaxing as well. smile

Mmmm....vegan pizza! Well, first there's no cheese on it. So we put mozz. flavored soy cheese on it. Then we load it up with whatever veggies we want (I'm not big on veggies with pizza so I stick with just cheese substitute, veggie pepperoni, and garlic.) Its SO good, the best pizza I've ever had!

Sorry for the long answering time, I've been gone for the weekend to visit friends, party, go to meetings and the like. It's been totally cool, I've seen some people, that I don't see often enough, so that's great.

Anyway, my other job is kinda funny. I work at a toy factory biggrin
I am now officially one of Santa's little helpers smile

Oh, and about the roleplaying stuff: It's true that a lot of people use roleplaying as an opportunity to fight each other with rubber swords, but I'm not really into that kind (although that is indeed what I teach my kids...). I focus more on the drama and the acting part. It's much like improvised theatre: You put on a role and then act like it, just like a regular actor, just without a script. That part of it is actually not that nerdy. A little, though biggrin

And yeah, I'm getting quite excited about this whole christmas-thingy. I'm celebrating it with my parents and a little family, so that should be fun and relaxing smile
How about you, what are you up to for christmas?

Yay! You're back!!! You are so good for my morale! I'm just happy to be able to see what's in front of me now!!!! smile

I created a hard and fast rule for Christmas trees because I was experiencing the same delays that you are. The first Sunday in December the tree goes up. Period. No debate, no discussions! So far it's worked out pretty well considering that's about the time the office Christmas parties are starting up as well.

Though, keeping the Christmas tree up till Valentine's day sounds like a GREAT idea. Just change some of the ornements for hearts and cupids (heck the Christmas angels look pretty close. Just remove the harps and horns and substitute bows & arrows!) and you're in business! Artificial trees rock for just that sort of thing! wink

Sorry to hear about your mom. Hope she's doing better soon. Yeah, I'm excited about X-mas too. I'll be going out to my mom's for christmas eve and spending the night out there. It should be fun. I'll get to hang out with my mom, my little brother and my grandma. My tree isn't up yet either, soon though! Hopefully your will be up soon too!smile
