Your recording set up sounds good, definitely everything you need to start putting some tracks down I'm using Logic myself, with an Apogee Duet. Bought a Shure SM7B and a Neumann TLM103 which both sound great and splashed out on a Les Paul Studio a while back, plus some Sennheiser headphones and Mackie monitors. Just bought an upgrade to Komplete 7 as well, awesome sounds! I have been bitten by the gear bug as you can tell lol. It's an expensive exercise but well worth it, I wish all this stuff had been available and as affordable as it is now ten years ago. I'm using BFD2 for drum programming, it takes a while to get the hang of mixing and processing the kits to get them to sit in a mix properly but it's great practice and you can get some very good drum sounds happening if you put the time in.
