i agree with you, i really don't see why they want to do that, some people are just dumb.

well see to me that is not as bad, if you want to waist your life trying to figure out something that you have no way of figuring out then go ahead and waist your life, but when it comes to something that can endanger 100's or 1000's or 1'000'000 of lives then that is when it goes to far.

It will certainly made for an interesting couple of days...

just don't worry about it, I'm pretty sure they can't do that, I'm pretty sure there is no way they are gong to be abele to get enough power to create a black hole.

That's just when they power it up, not when the serious stuff begins... that won't be for weeks. So there's no telling, if it happens. precisely when it will happen.

I wish we would wait until we could build things like this on the moon... but if it lets us figure out how to do fusion somehow... then it will have paid off massively. But I *am* a bit nervous- just simply because they say they are sure nothing bad can happen AND THEN they say they are hoping for unexpected results!
