dangerousmakeup:
that is pretty creepy... the whole balloon thing. I am the exact same way. Wierd, I thought I was the only one like that.
wraith7000:
what about when someone rubs their dry hand over a balloon and makes that creeky stickery rubbery sound, would that be a torture device as well, or just the popping?
janet:
i'm sorry about your friend, it's a terrible thing to have to go through, especially if you feel that you have left things unsaid : ( as they say though, time is the great healer. that and talking about it. On a lighter note, i used to torture my sister with deflated balloons, the wrinkled up ones. She was maybe five and would scream and cry. Come to think of it, i was pretty mean to my sister back then! We're best friends now though. I also have a friend who is phobic of buttons! I myself have an aversion to milk.
freckle:
so true... i hate the internet so much.

but i love it too... i'm addicted
er:
i am sensitive to other people's sensory unpleasantries because i have a very strange one. one of the the best sounds in the world though...is a cat eating crunchy hard cat food. that's part of the reason i became a cat person. munchmunchmunch

question: does the word balloon bug you? or talking about balloons? or only the noise?
evillyn:
When I was a kid I wouldn't even go to birthday parties cuz I was afraid a balloon might pop.
alexis:
I hate the suspenseful balloon popping torture! The moment I know it's about to happen, it makes me what to sit in a corner and cover my head.
