I'm really unimpressed with the solicitation of cash and gifts by sg's and hopefuls. If people want to give you money, of course that's their business, but it's completely turned me off to this site. That and the whole 'hopeful' label and the general popularity contest thing. It's really gauche. And, from what I've read, it's against the rules. And rightly fucking so.
Instead of looking like empowered young women taking control of their bodies, it makes everyone come off as whores who are hungry for more things, or people who are incompetent at paying their own goddamn bills. It's bad enough to have a wishlist posted but it's even worse to bring it up every blog and on your info, etc.
Where did all the classy ladies go sg? I love all the nerdy vixens with hot tattoos, but not enough to tolerate the rampant tackiness of virtual panhandling.
Now, on to cancel my subscription before it auto-renews.
