I have been crocheting since I was about ten. One of my many odd talents.
I had a wonderful trip, thank you. We enjoyed it immensely. Hard to be back now though.

tiger_fodder:
Thanks, M! Your words mean a lot to me.
tiger_fodder:
Depends on whether it's on a "triple word score."
tiger_fodder:
I do love Ms. Sophia. Take a gander of my things I love photo album. wink
jena:
That's a totally amazing story, thank you! Wow. I never understood how that particular one became their deifinitive anthem and single or why is resonates so deeply, honestly. And this is coming from a fanatic. Yes it was very different, but maybe too different of their signature sound for me. Oh wells! I'd still sing it from the rooftops with a fag, though.
sophiesox:

g_whiz:
It's going fine. We went to Houston's for lunch today. That was pretty good. She bitched at me for griping at the a-hole drivers getting there though. I guess that is her job but in my defense two people cut me off on the way. And it was the no signal, I all of a sudden want to be in your lane and two inches in front of you type deal.

I saw a girl in Houston's that I'm pretty sure is a semi famous actress. She kind of looked like a cross between Phoebe Cates and Madeline Zima in both age and features. I can't figure out who it was though.

How's everything with you? Been keeping busy makin' guys fall off bikes?
theaceface:
Yes there is a party. You should stop by.
metaverse:
Maybe a little on target. I don't always bring my A game some days. But I didn't think it would ever get to a point like this.
g_whiz:
I had a fish sandwich. It was pretty good. There's actually at least two here. The one we went to in Aventura, and one in Coral Gables. The Aventura one is right on the water (inter-coastal waterway) so we had a great view. And their service is always impeccable, which is nice.

She's here until Monday. I can almost guarantee I'll be less thrilled about her visit then. She started to put stuff "away" today.

So besides pushing people off their Segues, what have you been up to? Keeping busy with work? Oilin' up stuffs I guess.

Did you get a card from me a while ago? I have more mails for you, as soon as I get a minute to get to the post office.
ortus:
Ugh. Don't talk to me about video conferencing. I'm responsible for a project changing the whole way that video is delivered across our organisation and it's doing my nut in. There is no confidence in it. Mainly because no-one knows how to use it properly is my conclusion. The meeting was probably actually worth it in the end, but I had to tolerate an (expensive) evening out with a couple of my more boring colleagues which failed on more than one front. But, eh, we all have work gripes and I don't like to blather on about them. Especially on here.

Other news; that week in May is no good for me. I'm in Greece away for the week. frown

Sad tiems.

We'll catch up next time though hopefully.
kas:
and take a picture of my clavicle in front of the house wink biggrin
g_whiz:
I sent you something after you sent me the fox. But that was well after the bewigged dogs, because they were a belated valentines. Oh, well.

I think I have to take an extension on the taxes this year. Too much stuff a-happenin' to get them done in time, I think. Boo. they owe me mad moneys too!

I just got back from eating paellas. It was pretty yummy!
