so i caught the cat. it was really easy actually. he must have known i was there to help him. he let me scoop him up and into the cage. i'm calling him Nicky. (i picked a unisex name in case he turned out to be a girl. but we were right.)
he is currently recuperating from a) the operation to sew up the hole where his eye used to be, b) getting neutered, and c) getting all his shots. this is going to cost a lot of money. i'm having to set up a
'Poor Little One-eyed Cat' fund. if anyone wants to give money toward helping pay his bill, that would be greatly appreciated (this really only helps if you know me in real life because i am paypal-retarded). the woman in charge of F.L.O.C.K. is also raising money and will be making fliers with a picture of the cat. if those of you in vegas see a picture of a grey pirate-cat around town, give some money! any amount you can give, even $5, will help.

Eh, Lourdes is going to live with a friend in a single cat home for her ordeal and then we're going to box the offspring and take them down to the Whole Foods area. No one can resist a kitten, no?
