You have to drive up there really. It's kinda secluded, and at sunset there's usually a hippy gathering with bongos and fire poi all. It's stunning.
I love the island so much. It gets addictive. I haven't been the last couple of years, but before that I think I went 6 out of 7 years. And Space is the best club in the world.
You should definitely get out there for longer. There's so much to explore.
The thing that I always say about Ibiza is that it has so many different sides to the island that you don't need to be into house music and clubbing to have an amazing time. The island just has this amazing magnetic vibe about it. It sucks away all stresses, whether that's going mad until 9am in Space, or chilling in one of the towns or beaches having a couple of drinks. It's like my second home.
The last couple of times we went we had a car, so got to see lots more than usual. It's such a small island, but has so many different things to offer. The north of the island is beautiful and has hardly any tourists, and is so chilled you wouldn't believe. If you go back next year you MUST get your friend to take you to Beniras.
Stay as long as you possibly can and really get into it.
Oh yeah... slag features, you bite the cocks of diseased guys... off, and screw woodland animals with them. I'd rather be queer.
I mean, Jimmy was all "It all made sense in Brighton though!' when he came back home to his job in Quadrophenia... and you're being all "Ibiza made so much sense, I wanna be on holiday all the time". I was making this conection ... You know, for laughs... but I see it just gets insults..... soooo, ahhhhhh... ya know... maybe you should, ummm... fuck off, yeah? xx
Everyone who goes to Ibiza comes back converted. It's impossible not to.
San Antonio is definitely a bit mucky compared to the other big towns. All round the big drinking dens in the West End is pretty grim. I've mainly stayed in San An because it's the cheapest way to do it, but last time there was 8 of us and we hired a villa a couple miles outside. It was expensive, but well worth it. I think you just get a load of lairy beer boys staying in San An, whereas Playa d'en Bossa and Ibiza town you get less of the 'Ibiza Uncovered' type crowd.
Ibiza Town is really plush. And much more laid back than San An. Plus Ibiza Town has Pacha too, which is also a must-see club, even if you only go once. I hope to get back out there in the next year or two. People used to ask me why I was going back to Ibiza again, but unless you've been, you just don't get it.
