Communicating with other beings

Communicate with beings wherever possible, but treat them as people. Remember, most are kind, some are indifferent, and a few are very dangerous. Build a relationship as you would with a person, start small and build as you go. If you encounter resistance, move on; do not force yourself on other beings.

Be patient with beings who seem not to respond. If a tree asked you a question yesterday what would your reaction have been? Would you even have heard?
