"i want a job so i have something to write about"
i love the greek lady. this entry makes me want to work in a convinience store. or somewhere where i meet people. not just over the phone.
I'm in charge of buying my dept.'s lottery tickets from the kiosk on the ground floor. Every Monday, unless there's a big story that the jackpot's been won, I bring the owner back our pile of stubs to see if we've won anything. I always say "darn! Again! I was sure it was our week this time!" And he looks at me solemnly and says in his deep Indian accent, "my friend, I am as shocked as you."
-Notice how I see your entry and use it as an excuse to talk about me? I can be like that.
I really enjoyed reading this journal entry, very well writen and interesting.(unlike my journal entries...)
If you have the right attitude anything can be fun.
