unravled:
Cute pictures. And also, I ♥ the Weakerthans.
troglodyte:
Deeply, deeply jealous. I wanna sit on your desk.
unravled:
*jealous* I want to be underage again so I can sneak into shows.
anitalife:
blush Aw, shucks. It makes me happy that my knowledge of Latin makes you happy in a nerdy way.

Finally, those degrees are paying off! biggrin

Stick with the Latin for as long as it interests you . . . besides being incredibly character-building and making you look wicked smart, it can open some great doors for you, both intellectually and "in the real world."

Edited to substitute adverb for adjective. Still working on English, I guess.

anitalife:
P.S. Your translation was pretty damn good for a first-year student.
weetzie:
so i feel like a total jerk because i realize now that you were just half a booth down from me and the "tall, funny guy" you talked about bringing was actually Colin, who i know in a quasi-ambiguous don't really know manner, but i've seen him a lot and i think he dated someone that i also dated. although clearly not at the same time.

anyways. i'm sorry i'm prone to being such an ignorant, spacey drunk. i would have said hi. smile
icantplayguitar:
you are very popular today.
troglodyte:
Yup. I'm a real weirdo.
icantplayguitar:
any pointers?
fenris23:
Indeed it was pleasant.
endedben:
You'll have to fly here.
dholokov:
actually, now that you mention it, I do seem to recall some people switching the imperitive for the other (it has been a while for me, like nine years).... smile

(Sorry to post into your journal, but I figure no one is looking at the latin translation thread anymore smile )
troglodyte:
A weirdo in bed? Wouldn't you like to know! wink
chrisnail_and_i:
Funny, we've been listening to The Weakerthans for the past 2 days... almost non-stop!

It was great meeting you the other night! smile
troglodyte:
Wunderbar!
troglodyte:
German State, ja!
virtuoso:
you BETTER go! biggrin
dholokov:
Hello again!

I've been living in Toronto for about ten years now (Even though I list it as hometown on my profile, I was actually born in New Brunswick. The farthest west I've ever lived was Saskatchewan, when I was in High School). It's horrible about all the flooding, you should head for the mountains until it stops!

And hey neat, we both have Lenoard Cohen in our profiles! Leonard Cohen regat! smile
cklarock:
You win a gold star!

Way to go!
plasticfangs:
Man...why is it so many cool people live in Canada??? I think I need to move...

Hahaha...I lost a library book when I was a kid, and the local library won't lent me check anything out. Which is sad, considering that's it's a neat little library.

pixxy:
WHERE DID WE DISAPPEAR TO?!
UMMMMMM
robot
icantplayguitar:
whoa you changed back.
icantplayguitar:
from old pic to older pic

stay cool see ya next year.

plasticfangs:
Yikes! That doesn't sound good! For your sake, I really hope it doesn't!

That sounds like a lovely day. The other night, for me, it was Depeche Mode "On NIght In Paris" dvd, that comic "Unlikely" I mentioned in my journal, and some soy corn dogs. It was quite blissfull. smile

That picture of the stairway is really neat. Kinda spooky (I enjoy spooky).

And YES - I loved it! It was so funny. The zombies were really well-done too, I thought. A great movie.
troglodyte:
They had to go into the vegetable protection program on account of some maniac trying to cut them up and put them in his food.

The vegetable protection facility is located in my belly. It's safe and cozy in there for them.
