yeah, i like mono because they have that prog rock sound like godspeed and i wanted to see mono live because it'll the only close to seeing godspeed live. i didn't think mono would get to that merzbow level but shit i wish i went to their show.
i saw merzbow and mike patton play together. merzbow was reserved and sat in front of his laptop while mike patton spazzed out with his microphone feedback madness. i was standing all the way in the back and it was way too loud. melvins played before them and they were good overall i wasn't too impressed. i didn't like the fans of the melvins too much because they were being so disrepectful to kid606 before the melvins came on. i didn't understand why they didn't like kid606 because he's in the same realm of loudness and noise except he utilizes a computer and mixes rap songs from jay-z and missy elliot. but, those songs mixed by kid606 are not the type of songs that your local rap station would play because they're too noise oriented and extremely loud.
i play pinball as a last resort because most of the other arcade games seem boring. at the spits show i was going to play a pacman game but the fucking machine ate my quarter so i saw the pinball machine and started rocking out. i should play pinball more because i'm never good at them and i don't last too long.

Then it was warped over time, just like "champing at the bit," and "old stamping grounds," have changed to "chomping" and "stomping."
