Interesting day today.
I got to see a good movie (Rude Boy) for free today: thanks dollface! I wish I could've hung out longer, next time I'll try harder, I swear.
On the train ride home, I ran into a girl whom I actually met for the first time yesterday. Which wouldn't have been noteworthy except that as I was reading my book, she called out my name and I looked around, not seeing her and thinking that I was hearing things.....
Which wouldn't have been noteworthy except that earlier today I was walking through work and I swear I heard someone call my name. But I looked around and didn't see anyone; I just made eye contact with some guy I didn't know, and I think he thought I was some kind of weirdo.
I am some kind of weirdo.
Eventually, I went out to Subterranean to meet up with oak and see Crimson Sweet, which was a good show. Afterward of course we ended up at Estelle's, where I finally got to meet the fabled bartender. I also ran into a guy from work, who was a bit pie-eyed, but still alright to talk to. I can remember when I moved down here and thought that I would never be able to meet enough people that I would end up running into someone randomly at a bar or somewhere. It's happened a few times in the last week or so, and it doesn't seem so surprising anymore...
