No good deed goes unpunished

So I was driving to CT yesterday on business when I stopped at a rest stop for coffee and whatever. While stretching my legs near my car I witnessed one guy backing up while some people were pushing a disabled car into the same lane. Neither sets of people saw each other and in a few moments there would have been that sickening crunching metal sound. I was too far away to get there in time and my pointing and screaming wasn't working.

I leaned into the car and blew the horn while pointing towards the pending crash. The guy in the car read my actions and stopped....accident avoided. A woman sitting in the car next to me rolled her window down and said something like, "HEY....enough with the damn horn!!" I tried to explain what was going on and she just gave me one of those 'eat shit and die' looks and rolled up her window .

I love how people will just automatically assume that you are an asshole
