Yah, you know something. That is all my classes you have to be polite all the time and have cross you t's an dot your i's its annoying but its the hops we play in school.
damn..i love it when teachers accuse students of not caring or being forced to grade participation due to a lack of it. then when you want to voice your opinion, you're told to tone it down.

What the hell? I'm taking a class right now where raising a hand doesn't do a damn bit of good, because the teacher completely ignores it. He's pretty kick-ass and told us on the first day that he's old-school and just does straight lecture. So I think he ignores raised hands because he wants to keep the lecture moving, and if you're going to say something you'd better just fucking say it.
It's easy to offend people in philosophy class, I think.
