Wooop Yay im back .. didn't even notice i'd gone anywhere did ya ?
But yes here I am , I would have liked to have come out and celebrated birthdays with people tonight but you wouldn't believe how jetlagged I am . Stupid 8 hours malarkey , I feel all messed up but very happy after an amazing adventure.
So heres a brief rundown of my adventures .. in something resembling the order they happened...
* Long ass flight to LA , caught Anchorman and Collateral again on the way over , stayed the first night in Santa Ana.
*Had an early 5am bop about my hotel room , got the bus to Las Vegas and had a bit of a mooch about , bought the worlds gayest keyring in the Elton John shop in Caesars Palace , travelled to our hotel in Laughlin - Nevada.
*Went across to Arizona for our helicopter over the Grand Canyon , such an amazing specatcle ..didn't disappoint at all , saw The Incredibles in the evening which I nodded off through.
*Returned for a mammoth Vegas session . Did all the casinos , did pretty much everything ... an amazing place .. but bloody exhausting ..felt mentally drained after leaving the place.
*Easy day today , bought a few cds and plenty of sounvenir junk and had yet another all you can eat buffet .Piss up and sampling of eggnog in the evening .
*We said goodbye to Nevada and got the Greyhound back to LA , the Greyhound bus station is like walking out into an NWA video ..its right in the middle of gang territory.
*Had a bus tour of LA ..saw everything all be it briefly .. Venice Beach .. and all that jazz.
*Had a day round exploring Hollywood .. its strangely like an American Camden town selling all manner of crap . Was a truly fascinating place.
*I got to be a big kid today round Universal Studios - Hollywood ..got to pose next to the Delorean.
*The journey continued as we went down to San Diego for the last few days . Its such a gorgeous place , and what I would think of if anyone said the word California to me .. as opposed to LA . Wandered around there , then we had a hugely expensive meal in this place that pretty much did every variety of beer in the world.
*San Diego zoo today ..got to see real life Giant Pandas for the first time.
*Thanksgiving day , got up watched the Macys parade thing on the telly . We then ventured across the border to Tijuana - Mexico ... absolutely insane place ... people thrusting plastic Jesus's and silly hats at you and nutters trying to draw you into there restaurants with free very heavy on the tequilla margaritas. It was certainly an experience.
*Made the trip back to LA and the flight back to Blighty .. which is what I emerged from a few hours ago.
Thats about it really , im sure i'll go into more detail when im a bit more awake .
