I just imported The Clash on to my computer last night; I couldn't stand listening to it in the car because for some reason it sounded horrible. It's good enough on my MacBook.
A travel partner is a good idea for almost any trip.
I miss Wisconsin winters some times. Wouldn't it be cool if we could drive around on Lake Washington or even the Sound? Some places have amateur auto rallies/snowcross on lakes. Also, imagine going skating at Volunteer Park from November through February.
Damn it. If I had known there'd be a bunch of cute babies in your journal comments I'd have hit the add comment button instead of scrolling down first.
I figured the thread might not be enough, so I updated my journal, started a friend's thread and am spamming everyone who's ever played who I like. I'm nothing if not thorough.
Did you find either?
You're getting cd's not vinyl I assume...
They're both readily available.
I'm surprised you had any trouble.
But I'm serious about getting both.
They are VERY different - even some different versions of the same song (White Riot).
really all three of those places will cost you about the same. you can get cheap airfare to japan, but the hotels are crazy. you can get good deals on uk airfare if you don't care when you fly, but depending on where you go (london) the hotels are also pretty expensive. to australia the airfare is pricey, but the hotels aren't so bad. food is though, careful on that.
