Ever since I was about 3 or 4 years old, Billie Holiday has been the answer to all my problems. The soul and pain and love in her voice just rings so true. I get a warm feeling all over when I listen to her.
Anyways, I didn't intend to fall asleep but I woke up this morning at like 6 to find that I was in the exact position I was in when I apparently fell asleep. My apartment was still glowing with Christmas and Billie was still singing to me and it happened to be my favorite song when I was little. My grandma used to have tea parties and we would sing this song together...
Needless to say, the last 12 hours have been a delight.
Anyways, now I'm waiting for my man to get here with Starbucks and quarters for laundry! Ya know, just livin the dream... lol
I have been working a lot with my ratties getting them to warm up and such. We are making progress! I took a bunch of pictures yesterday while they were playing! Lots of them are blurry cuz those little buggers don't stop moving! But they still look cool I think. I'll spoiler in case you don't care lol

SOOOOOOO yesterday I got a wild hair to go check my mail. I don't do this regularly mainly because I mostly get junk mail and that's annoying, But I decided to brave the pouring rain and go walk to my mailbox and see. To my surprise, I had a package from my bestie Chrysis. Inside was more amazingness than I could possibly imagine!
-Earlier this week she surprised me with Dexter Season 3!!!!!!! Which B and I started last night. Rita's prego! Woot! lol I think we'll finish this season pretty quick. Then we need Season 4. I love that I got him addicted to this show too.... because I'll bet a million bucks that he gets me Season 4 for Christmas, if only because HE wants to watch it. HAHA!
But in the box there was...

She is..... amazing. I honestly couldn't ask for a better friend. From across the country, she is always here for me when I need someone. AND I LOVE HER!!!! 
In other news, I have been feeling strangely great lately. Everything seems to be falling into place for me and for the first time in over a year I feel.... content. My medication has been altered a little and seems to be working better than ever. I'm happy with my relationship and he's thinking about moving back in next month. I am situated financially right now. I have 4 loving pets. My family is happy. Yeah... life is pretty damn good right now. Thank fucking god! I needed a break from the chaos
And to top it all off, Christmas is a blink away!
I've gotten quite a few gifts for people over the last couple days and I've finally begun my Christmas cards. So some of you miiiiiiight not get cards until after the holiday. HAHA!
Well, I'm off to drink coffee and watch more Dexter!
