Snakes are a little complicated to keep as pets; since they're cold-blooded you have to carefully regulate the temperature and humidity in their cages. But they only need to eat every 1-3 weeks and other than the cage they are extremely low-maintenance. And they're cool as hell. I recommend getting one, once you're ready. I love my snake!
