I would say I'd sleep in for you today, but I'm already up...
Besides the expensive stuff I know I won't get (which includes a laptop and a new digital camera) - I'd really like new knitting needles, some good books and more WoW game time.
My favorite Christmas carol is probably Song for A Winter's Night, which came out in 1967, but has been remade by Sarah McLachlan. I don't really have a favorite contemporary song, but Santa Baby really gets on my nerves.
This might sound corny, but it's just true that I don't want anything for Christmas. My parents are outta town, my brother prob ain't gonna get me anything ...I suppose I'd ask for uhh just somethin' to do on Christmas! If my friend Mike can't have me over, and if NoControl's busy, well, I am pretty limited...
I suppose if I have a wish for some material things, it'd be a lot of out-of-print CDs, and some rare jazz ones.
I don't know if it counts, but Coltrane did two very good versions of "Greensleeves" on Africa/Brass. Since that's instrumental, I suppose it's not a carol so I'll say uhh "Silver Bells" is okay.
I liked the version of "Last Christmas" that Jimmy Eat World did. I heard that a few times last year. I finally heard Wham!'s version this year in a Food Lion; didn't think much of theirs. Ween did a Xmas song in their early home-cassette days, "Ho Ho Ho." I like that a lot.
i wasn't going to do xmas with anyone except family this year, but i saw something today and picked it up for you...so you'll get it when i see you
it's nothing too expensive or anything, but i'm pretty sure it's something you'll like
yea looks like a solid matchup i wish you all the luck in the world except enough to beat me jk hnestly good luck. and i hope the two above us tie and that makes us the winners!
