Somehow, I managed to avoid ever having a roommate. Maybe I missed out on some things. But maybe I didn't.
I'm not sure I could even tell you the fun things to do at night in Portland. I'm totally useless with Seattle.
So you are/were a Jellyfish fan? The king is half-undressed ends up in my shortlists for mix cds all the time. One of my favorites, but they didn't grab me with much else on that one. What was their second cd - Spilt Milk? I remember seeing one of the members of the Verve Pipe list it in their current rotation of cds when the band kept journals. What did you think of that one?
Hey there, In Seattle there is a fun nightclub called Catwalk that plays some good music. You'd have to see whats playing what night to find what you like.
Also, the store Toys in Babeland, (run by my friend,) has classes sometimes that are fun and educational. (And from the name you can guess the product and class topics.
Wednesdays at the gay club neighbors is drag night and thats always alot of fun. Also see whos playing at the Showbox while your there.
Have fun, be good, (or not,) and say hello to my hometown of Murrieta for me.
My personal favorite verve pipe cd is their self-titled release in 1999. However, the songs on Pop Smear have grown on me the more I listen to them. I discovered them when Villains was released and it's very good, too. If you ever want any "samples" let me know. I need to get into the mix trades one of these times.
