The show is at Nanci Raygun...it's on Grace St. right in the heart of VCU. It's actually pretty easy to find...it used to be called Twisters as well as 929....I don't know if you've been to it when it was either, but it might be helpful. Let me know if you need directions.
There's a club called Chopstix, well it's actually a vietnamese restaurant, but they play techno on Friday nights...it's usually either house or breaks or something of that nature. But there's a club called Godfrey's, well it's actually a Gay bar and holds Drag brunches on Sundays, but they play Electro and or 80's dance new wave stuff on Wednesdays and Fridays...it's where all the little 'Scenestars' hang out.
