HO, HO, HOOOO!!!!!! 
Well, everyone!!!
Today marks the first day of my Christmas festivities! Before I roll with the pictures (I am naughty Mrs. Claus as often as I can be during this time of year 
) there are a couple of things to explain:
1. My hubby got me this apron last year and could barely get me out of it during the month December.
-AND-
2. While Halloween is a favorite holiday for obvious reasons, Christmas is the only time of year where I feel truly peaceful. (I am not a 'colorful and blinking' lights kind of girl, no matter how I might dress up, giggle and wish I could throw red sparklies in the air all season long
)
I enjoy a tree with white lights (and not those new-fangled and awfully cold looking LED lights)... I love the old school GE lights that almost seem to glow with a champagne hue. I also like damn near every branch to be wrapped completely (2000 bulbs would be an average ) My ornaments, while there are exceptions, are of gold, silver and red blown glass with Swarovski crystals twinkling and casting patterns on the walls.
Simply: It makes me feel at home...
BUT! These are the exciting, goofy days that I spend decorating and dancing around to Elvis Christmas in nothing but my pom pom slippers, some undies and my faithful Mrs. Claus apron
