With Halloween just around the corner, the little lady and I purchased "Hocus Pocus" to watch while we carved pumpkins. Other than the fact that SJP looks hot as a goth chick, the movie was absolutely horrible -- and I loved every cheesy minute of it!
Instead of carving pumpkins, though, we built bookshelves and drank white russians (or "caucasians", if you're the dude). It was a fitting end to what had been a monumental day of setting goals for ourselves and accomplishing them. Trip to Ikea? check. Pay bills? Check. Grocery Shopping? Check. Dry-cleaning? Check. Brunch at Jinky's with old bandmate? Check. Use old bandmate's hook-up to purchase a guitar that isn't even in production yet at a price that hasn't even been determined yet? Check.... and woo-effin'-hoo on that, by the way.
I got really lucky and managed to get this baby yesterday:
It won't actually receive it until around January... but I have already bought and paid for it. According to the Jackson rep, I'm the first person in L.A. to have bought one.
I'm a happy boy.
ps. NC folks, I'm in Charlotte next weekend. Not sure what the plans are yet, but those of you that I have cell numbers for will be getting a call if I can scrape up any free time.
