4th use to be my fav when I enjoyed shooting off fireworks. Now not some much anymore. My fav holidays are the ones I get to drink a shit load and have a lot of fun. This 4th ... no plan. Actually probably go to Alameda County (Car) Auction. Maybe buy a car ... who knows.
I wish I was gonna be there for the 4th. I feel like hanging out with you is a 4th of July tradition, even though I think it was only 2 years in which that happened.
I think I could stomach some of this! My recent guilty pleasure is Robyn [a href TK Konnichiwa Bitches youtube], who is what my best friend refers to as post-ironic[1]. Shes either sublimely fantastic or irremediably terrible, but shes entirely catchy and I fell in love with her [delightful/dreadful] work even before there was a youtube, when I saw it on the Australian BBC analogue and couldnt quite believe anyone could behave so absurdly and get on television. At least, I think it was before youtube. I just remember being a jaded teenager and stumbling across this little blonde Swedish woman singing Konnichiwa Bitches in lycra.
I dont know. I squeal like a school girl whenever I hear her, and then I turn down my headphones because apparently I still care what people think (for shame!).
I must subsume the coffee story; Ive since decided that as comfortable as my dependancy has been it needs to be done away with now. Five days in, I wake up on my own, find beautiful dresses for ten dollars in department stores (of all places!) and am filled with creative fire. I anticipate this lasting at most a fortnight, but wish me luck would you?
[1: Post-ironic is when one does something that would typically be attributed to hipster irony (a chubby twenty year old comedian wearing an extravagant fur coat to a nightclub, a normally immaculately dressed girl wearing shocking pink leggings with an otherwise demure outfit) but instead does it in an earnest love of the thing done and with no intention of irony at all. The post- is dishonest, since both she, and I, and most of our more interesting friends have been doing this since gradeschool, but weve both been art students and its far more entertaining to say post-ironic than earnest, dont you think?]

I found myself with two hours of sleep last night and an appointment at nine in the morning, and so I couldn't face the day without espresso. Now I feel like I imagine the Buddha must've felt. This is not the most useful description, since I don't actually know anything about the Buddha except that he's purportedly serene[1], however I am far too relaxed and chemically fulfilled to be bothered by such inaccuracy.
